This month Peter Costello is going to take us all on paddle across Bass Strait as he tells us about his most recent crossing in March! 

This night serves many purposes:

• Socialising and talking about sea kayaking!
• A way to introduce new and prospective members
• The night will be open to ANYONE interested in sea kayaking. This gives prospective members an opportunity to speak to sea kayakers from beginners to experts. New members can meet more members.
• This is our opportunity to promote sea kayaking and our club.
• The main event of the evening is the social dinner.
• We plan to have monthly member/guest speakers or members show and tell for the 2nd half of the evening.
• Sell/buy 2nd hand kayak gear. 

1. Arrive between 6-6.30pm  (The closer to 6pm the better)
2. The venue will take our dinner orders about 6.40pm. We all order at the same time. If you are going to be late you can ask someone to order on your behalf. The earlier everyone arrives, the sooner we can order. You pay for your meal at the bar before you leave.
3. If you intend to sell any 2nd hand kayak gear you are welcome to bring in anything small into the RSL.
4. We have our own bar in our area. We will order dinner together so it all arrives at the same time.
5. This month Peter Costello will be talking about his recent Bass Strait Crossing in March. It will start straight after dinner, about 7.15pm.
6. Even though we are finished by 8.30pm, you are welcome to stay alonger if you wish.

Where: Cheltenham Moorabbin RSL - 289 Centre Dandenong Road, Cheltenham (Opposite Moorabbin Airport)

When: 6.00 pm - 8.30pm (the venue is open to 11pm).
